Since my early days as a medical student, I’ve been obsessed with defining and creating a truly exceptional primary care experience. This is my life’s work.
I bridge two worlds that rarely meet: I'm a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, with an an expert understanding of longevity, fitness, and nutrition. This means I comprehend both complex disease and the science of wellness. Unlike most physicians who focus solely on illness, or wellness experts who lack medical training, I bring knowledge of how the body functions in both health and disease - where we thrive and where we falter. I develop personalized care plans that address the full spectrum of health needs, from cardiometabolic health and weight management to emotional health and complex chronic conditions. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer and avid cyclist.
Most recently, I worked with the founder of One Medical (Dr. Tom Lee) to build the cutting-edge primary care company Galileo, supervising doctors and clinical operations across multiple states. I currently advise leading digital health companies focused on primary care, nutrition and mental health.
I completed my training in Internal Medicine at UCSF, a top academic medical center. I learned from Master Clinicians in a diverse set of training environments, from the clinic to the COVID ICU. I attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago, close to my roots in rural Illinois.
